For sixteen years Catharsis Productions has been creating and delivering unique and pretty awesome live sexual violence prevention trainings to college and military audiences. By “fighting fire with funny,” we strategically use humor (yes, even for educational purposes) and audience interaction to break down defensiveness and challenge misconceptions about sexual violence.

We are seeking a part-time Office Coordinator. The Office Coordinator will assist in building and maintaining a sustainable, healthy work environment. The Office Coordinator carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: office support, building maintenance, internal communications, company events, wellness programming, recruitment, employee onboarding, and other human resources administration assistance as assigned.

HERE’S THE SKINNY:

Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the Office Coordinator would be expected to:

  • Assist with creating a healthy work environment through providing office administrative support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the telephone; relaying messages and faxes; receiving and assisting guests, maintaining equipment and supplies.

  • Organize company calendar and conference room meetings, including organizing meeting and training dates.

  • Maintain a clean office environment, wash dishes and organize inventory.

  • Coordinate relationship with building maintenance and IT vendor, requesting and following up on safety measures, inventory and repairs.

  • Assist in the use of outside vendors for in-house office related needs, including: shipping, IT and building management.

  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.

  • Facilitate training employees on IT.

  • Facilitate IT support to office with outsourced vendors.

  • Enter New Hires into the Concur system.

      • Contact vendors to initiate troubleshooting PC and laptop hardware, Windows operating system and MS Office issues.

      • Troubleshoot basic network and telecommunications connectivity issues.

      • Ensure end-users are informed of issue status through resolution.

        Other duties as assigned.

        AND WHAT KINDS OF EXPERIENCE SHOULD YOU HAVE?

        Education and/or Experience:

        Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. 2-3 years of professional experience

        Knowledge and Skills:

        Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), ability to prioritize and assist multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-oriented environment while paying attention to detail, ability to work well under time constraints, excellent verbal and writing skills, the ability to work as part of a team. High energy attitude for an extremely busy office.
